Andrew helped me understand my worth again, brought back my confidence and talked me through any and every situation and thought process. I have a fresh and stronger look on life and my future and that is down to Andy and I would consider him now as a friend and not just as my counsellor .

John

Basically and simply helped save me. I was at my lowest ever in my life! it took everything I had to take the step and make contact but realising if I did not try then I would have lost everything in my life and maybe my life itself. Andrew had a fantastic calming voice. Listening and asking. Gets you to review not making statements or direct comments. Cleverly directs your thinking and attitude to look at everything from a different perspective to the one that got you there in the first place. Makes you appreciate everything you are, have achieved and could and want to be.

Nic

I’ve found it so rewarding to work with Andrew recently on mindset, energy and attitude to change with a particular focus on business and leadership. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend working with Andrew to anyone who is interested in self development, healing and challenging yourself.

Kate

Andrew creates a warm and empathic environment which enabled me to feel safe when working through challenging emotions. Being the only male counsellor in Hartlepool so far, he offers an authentic space for people to figure out their thoughts and feelings without judgment or opinions.

Michael

I can't recommend Andrew highly enough. When I started counselling I was a real crossroads with my life. Not only is the environment 110% safe and judgment free, Andrew truly listens, understands and gives incredible perspective on a whole range of matters and has truly played an enormous part in a whole load of positive changes in my life. Can't recommend Talking Spaces highly enough.

Counselling is a professional service where trained individuals, known as counsellors or therapists, help people navigate and resolve personal, emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. It involves creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can express their thoughts and feelings openly. The goal of counseling is to help clients gain insight into their challenges, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives. Counseling can address a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions.

If you feel you would like to talk to someone away from your family or friends. A counsellor can help you work through issues or problems you are experiencing and any mental health concerns.
Each session is client-led and specifically tailored to you. Depending on your reasons for seeking counselling they may be more reflective or directional depending on your needs.

Your first session can be paid for securly by card when booking online via our website.  Thereafter each session is paid for either via bank transfer, card payment, or by booking directly via our website. You can discuss this with your counsellor at thge end of your first session.

It is. However, it’s important to mention that occasionally there are circumstances where we cannot legally or ethically maintain confidentiality.
In order to protect you (the client) or another we may need to share information if we believe there is a serious risk of harm, wherever possible this is done with your consent and the reasons are discussed with you beforehand.
