If you feel you would like to talk to someone away from your family or friends. A counsellor can help you work through issues or problems you are experiencing and any mental health concerns.
Each session is client-led and specifically tailored to you. Depending on your reasons for seeking counselling they may be more reflective or directional depending on your needs.
Your first session can be paid for by bank transfer or card payment via square payments. Thereafter each session is paid for one week in advance. This is either via bank transfer or card payment at the end of each session.
We currently offer our counselling by both telephone and Zoom link. We can offer an initial 10-minute telephone chat to talk through the issues that you are experiencing, and how we can help. Online counselling is accessible and convenient. It has grown in popularity in recent months and as clients become used to working online, they realise the benefits it can bring. It is a safe and confidential space to talk through your problems with a trained and experienced therapist, someone outside your circle of family and friends.
Counselling can help with a wide and diverse range of issues. From anxiety and depression, work-related issues, trauma, and relationships to issues around gender and sexuality.
It is entirely up to you how many sessions you would like and we offer an open-ended service. Most clients come on a weekly basis and sessions last for 50 minutes. Clients usually continue until they feel they have worked through their issues. We recommend that a minimum of six sessions at the start, and we can review from there.
The sessions are completely confidential. The only reason to break confidentiality is if your counsellor feels you are at serious risk to yourself or others, but we will always aim to discuss with you first how to seek additional support.
